Since 1975 Wac³aw Walecki has been chief editor
of the "Nauka dla Wszystkich" [Science and Knowledge for Everyone]
series of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), which has been published
since 1966. 490 titles have appeared so far. The individual books present
the current statate of research in different branches of learning, also
in the sphere of various interdisciplinary problems.
