The eighteen articles written by various authors and drawn together in this volume here uncontrovertibly attest to the fact that phenomenology does not constitute a completely closed chapter in the history of philosophy and the history of ideas. The very question as to what phenomenology is today provokes many answers which themselves refer to issues unsolved and still open for discussion.
