The print consists of passages from two of Mickiewicz's writings from his Towiański period: Words of Christ and Words of the Virgin. Adapted to the Biblical style, these texts are deeply moving.They are supplemented with a facsimile reproduction of the autograph and an introduction written by Bogusław Dopart, a distinguished expert on Mickiewicz. This edition's use of the same font as the one in the first edition of Pan Tadeusz (1834) adds to its unique, bibliophile value.
